Free Summer Meals for Students

Free Summer Meals for Students
Posted on 06/18/2019
This summer the School District of Palm Beach County is once again offering the Summer Food Service Program to provide free, nutritionally balanced breakfasts and lunches to children through the age of 18.

"The Summer Meals Program allows children to receive a nutritious meal on days where they might not have food available,” said Allison Monbleau, School Food Service Director. “We serve over 185,000 meals each school day, and hunger does not go away during the summer.  We feel privileged to be able to provide meals at over 140 sites this summer."

Summer Food Service sites are open where 50 percent or more of the children qualify for free and reduced-price meals during the school year. Students enrolled in summer school or camps will also be provided the free meals. Here is a list of the 2019 Summer Feeding Locations by City that the District has available throughout the county. To find the dates and times the meals are available and menus, visit Food & Nutrition Services, and click the Meal Information tab.

In 2018, more than 783,000 Summer School Meals were served at 145 school and community sites.

This year, lunches and afternoon snacks will also be available through the following county library branches:
